Interview Feedback

Two Wednesdays ago, the EXCEL program participated in a mock interview. I was interviewed by Bale Elementary School's principle, Mrs. Browning. Before the event, I felt nervous about it because for me it was not just a mock one, this interview would determine whether or not I will get my internship at Bale. One thing that helped calm my nerves was one of the stations we went to in preparation that was labeled "Get Ready For Your Interview". In that station we talked about the Do's and Don't's of an interview. That allowed me to walk into my interview with a little more confidence and a lot more information. During my interview, Mrs. Browning asked me several questions that I could easily answer and that I felt confident in. However, some of them stumped me, but I think I was able to successfully answer them in a well mannered and professional way.
